The Ziegler company was set up in Brussels by Arthur Joseph Ziegler, whose ambition was to develop it with an international orientation.
We are architects for transport and logistics. We plan, design and construct a competitive worldwide network to transport, store and handle goods easily and reliably by land, sea and air. We stay on top of regional conditions to provide our customers with personalised solutions to be globally successful.
We have been present in Morocco since 1986. As of today we operate throughout 2 consolidation hubs in Casablanca and Tangier. Our uniqueness: to create suitable solutions according to our customers demands and offer them unique expertise on the long-term. This of course by covering the entire supply chain on an international scale.
Our main advantage is to offer Morocco the possibility of all 5 operations the Group can handle being Road, Air, and Sea-freight as well as customs and logistics in the two promising regions of Casablanca and Tangier.
For over 34 years, Ziegler Morocco has always successfully adapted to developments in the Moroccan market. From the 90’s, Ziegler Morocco was already in the top 3 of sea freight operators in Morocco. With the growth of the country and the proliferation of free zones, the modes of transport used from and to Morocco have greatly evolved. RORO (roll on roll off) thus appeared to satisfy the client’s ”just-in-time” model. Then, the road and air transport developed strongly in the 20’s. Due to the strong growth of our activity in Morocco, Ziegler group invested in 2012 in a new bonded building of 5000 m². The objective was to be able to offer our customers pure logistics which was in strong demand in Morocco. Each time, Ziegler Morocco has anticipated new challenges.
Given the development of northern Morocco as a gateway to Africa but also as an entry HUB for all RORO flows, the Group decided to open a sales office in Tangier in 2016.
We remain proactive and informed in all important facilities the Kingdom of Morocco can offer us. Currently we are in the end procedure of obtaining the AEO Safety/security certification in Morocco.
Our specific activity sectors are Food & Healthcare given that we are ONSSA certified.
Our expertise in the transportation of specific products (aeronautics, fashion, wine and spirits, bikes, fairs & exhibitions, dangerous goods, project cargo) and our steadfastness acquired over more than a century of activity makes us a well-known and recognised player in the market. We have opted for locations at multiple sites, which makes it possible to offer a local service, with great responsiveness and flexibility.
Thanks to our integrated IT services, we develop our own supply chain management solutions, thus benefiting from a complete control of our activity and real capability for innovation. These various digital solutions enable us to offer our customers a real-time control on their supply chain.
