The Ziegler company was set up in Brussels by Arthur Joseph Ziegler, whose ambition was to develop it with an international orientation.
We are architects for transport and logistics. We plan, design and construct a competitive worldwide network to transport, store and handle goods easily and reliably by land, sea and air. We stay on top of regional conditions to provide our customers with personalised solutions to be globally successful.
Founded in 1908 with headquarters in Brussels, Ziegler Group is a leading global logistics service provider offering road freight, airfreight, sea freight, rail freight, inland waterway, logistics, customs clearance, e-commerce and other value-added services. With over 3,200 employees worldwide, Ziegler operates a close-knit global network with some 154 branches in more than 15 countries. In a further 80 countries, it cooperates closely with partner companies.
Ziegler France developed in the 60s and now has 60 agencies, spread across the country. France has a very significant network allowing us to offer our clients local service.
We intervene along the entire logistical chain throughout the world, with a global road, air, sea, logistics, and customs offering. We also have strong expertise on specific markets such as aerospace, project cargo, and FMCG.
With ZIEGLER, you are sure to have a passionate transport partner by your side. As a transport company both steeped in tradition and modern, we provide you with advice and expertise on the whole supply chain.
There has been a great deal of progress in our industry in terms of securing goods for transport. Consumption patterns and customer expectations at the global level are in flux and we are providing support with these changes.
Our future prospects are at the group’s level:
Since 10 February 2016, ZIEGLER France has enjoyed the status of Authorised Economic Operator – Full (AEO-F) for all its agencies. This status allows us to secure the international supply chain, combat terrorism and customs fraud, facilitate and accelerate international trade, benefit from customs facilities, and establish a secure framework with business partners.
Our keys to success are a close relationship with our clients, clear processes incorporating a committed environmental policy and precise communication.
